Bio

Jona Tarlin was raised in Silicon Valley and currently resides in Chinatown, NYC. His play, IN ANTARCTICA, WHERE IT IS VERY WARM will be presented in September 2014 at IRT Theater, produced by Blowout Theater Co. His monologue CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE was performed as part of the Soul Food Monologue series for Forward Theatre Co. in Madison, WI. His short play I CAN HAS PLAY was performed at the inaugural ESPA* Detention at Jimmys no. 43 and was the winner of The Brick Theater’s Winter 10-Minute Play Fest. His play MAMAS, DON’T LET YOUR CFOS GROW UP TO BE COWBOYS was performed at Sarah Lawrence College, where he graduated with a BA in Theater and the Lipkin Prize for Playwriting.
